The 2008 conference was held July 10-12 in Sudbury, Ontario. The participants took advantage of the opportunity to review the by-laws of the APF and take part in workshops on print advertising, special promotions and Internet advertising. The newspaper hosting the event, Le Voyageur, was celebrating its 40^th anniversary. The conference participants were invited to visit an enormous nickel mine and the awards gala was held in a cave.
